We are excited to announce several enhancements in the latest release of CodeSentry:

Operating System and Package Analysis (Windows):
- Improved Package Naming accuracy where package versions are removed from the package names before they are displayed in the SBOM

More compact CycloneDX Export
- The CycloneDX SBOM export now removes duplicate component entries that only differ by the target file in which they are discovered, making SBOMs smaller and more manageable

Improved CPE Accuracy:
- The CPE ‘part’ field now accurately reflects if the component is an application (a), operating system (o), or hardware device (h)

If you are an on-premise customer please note CodeSentry 6.2 is a SaaS-only release, and these features will be rolled into the next on-premise release.
